I don't worry about that, the impossible missions are about hack some different servers, like linux based servers, windows, government or special server, and then notify to zone-h.org, or take control of a botnet, so I don't think that the tag is appropiate.

Other thing, I saw that you remove the reverse engineering tag, but in yashira reverse engineering is different from cracking category. The cracking topic is about bruteforce some different algorithms like MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA1, NTLM, modified algorithms, etc.

That could almost get tagged as "Shell". (which is a realistic realistic chall) ;)

I think haxtor, thebackubox and Yashira would get the "Shell" tag then?

As you see it is not easy to tag the sites... the focus should be kept on navigation, not uniqueness.
So the tags should point out the similarities.

I agree, but now what is the difference between shell and realistic?
I think that haxtor has a high focus in Crypto.

Yashira has the Wit category that can be classified in Logic tag.

It's ok, I don't remember a shell challenge in haxtor, I was viewing all the challenges in haxtor, and It's kind of Crypto, exploit and realistic.

I agree with the idea of the sixteen disambigous defined tags.

As far as I know, there is no shell challenge in haxtor. It gives you a shell account, but the goal is to use it, not to exploit it.

By the way, I think that you can merge 'Hacking' and 'Exploit' tags too.

Hacking,Exploit and similars have been merged to 'Exploit'.

I think we could need a general tag for sites like Electrica, Rankk or Hacker.org, which have a linear challenge, eg, you have to solve the challs in order to unlock more challs. Maybe just "Linear" will do... anyone got a better tag name?

As you can see, I'm using some more tags : Java (reversing ?), Flash (reversing too ?). Maybe you should have sub-tags for reversing, like Java, Windows binaries, Unix binaries, Flash, and so on ?

Yeah, having special tags for Java,Flash,etc is good. Having subtags is very hard, but having 4 or 5 different cracking tags should be fine.
Cracking is maybe the tag for win32 exe.
if there are much linux exe to crack, we could give them the tag "ELF".
Java and Flash are self explaining enough to notice they mean cracking/exploiting a java / flash app.
